Motip Epoxy Primer - Grey - 400ml - Flat Mat

MOTIP Epoxy Primer is an all-purpose 1K primer that provides excellent adhesion and corrosion prevention on sheet steel, zinc-coated steel, aluminium and anodised aluminium. It can be used for spot repair and refinishing parts. It is fast drying with good flow and can be applied wet-on-wet. It also offers good insulation against humidity.

Usage instructions
Before use, carefully read the directions on the packaging and act accordingly.

1. Pre Treatment: The surface should be clean, dry and free of grease (with MOTIP Silicone Remover). Remove loose old lacquer and rust and sand the surface.
2. Treatment: The surface should be clean, dry and free of grease. The aerosol should have room temperature. Best processing temperature 10 to 30°C.
3. Before use, shake the aerosol for 2 minutes and spray a sample. Distance to the surface to be treated approximately 15 to 20 centimetre.
4. Apply the primer in several thin layers. Before applying the next layer, again shake the aerosol.
5. After use, clean the valve (turn aerosol upside down and press the nozzle for approximately 5 seconds).
6. The drying time depends on the ambient temperature, the humidity of the air and the thickness of the lacquer applied.
